Interliance Begins Workforce Project with Puget Sound Energy

Santa Ana, CA/ May 31, 2006 – Interliance was awarded a contract by Puget Sound Energy to facilitate their Electric Operations First Responder workforce analysis.  The project utilizes Interliance’s proprietary Strategic Workforce Intelligence Forecasting Tool (SWIFT), a database and survey designed to rapidly assess workforce needs in relation to attrition and knowledge and skills management.

Puget Sound is focusing on the supervisory and craft level positions within the Electric First Responder job classifications and will use SWIFT to assess:

  • Strengths and weaknesses of the workforce
  • Depth of knowledge within each job class
  • Relative importance of each task to the business needs
  • Attrition impact to the task level of the organization
  • Key areas of required training, process improvement, and standardization.
  • Specific targets for knowledge capture and retention.
  • Identifying skills and knowledge gaps that are most critical to the successful operation of the organization.

“Interliance is committed to providing the highest-quality support, materials, and programs that will be an asset to Puget Sound Energy and will reflect the quality and integrity of its operations.  We look forward to supporting Puget Sound Energy in meeting its operational objectives and will take an uncompromising approach to high standards throughout,” said workforce expert Brad Kamph, Executive Vice President of Interliance.
