Description

Candidates will have extensive experience in the mechanical, electrical, controls, or operations disciplines preferably in the process industry (energy, utilities, wastewater treatment, oil and gas). Analyst will participate in business assessments, analysis, and optimization efforts as well as procedure and training development. Must possess strong communication, project planning, research, analysis, and implementation skills.  This person will be responsible for conducting assessments and analysis, engineering analysis and continuous improvement activities, developing competency and training systems, defining best practices and job performance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct front-end assessments and analysis relative to as-is technical requirements and systems
  • Perform Job Analysis and Training System Development relative to all performance based functions
  • Use an organized and systematic approach to conduct front end analysis and needs assessments at plant locations using a variety of sources
  • Analysis and recommendations on the existing plant processes and systems for individual and/or organizational improvement effectiveness
  • Interface with client subject matter experts for implementation and standardization of new work practices
  • Identify optimization and process improvement based on results of assessments or identified problems
  • Perform job analysis and develop training components including: training objective development, performance requirements, curriculum structure and progression

Qualifications

  • 10+/- years hands-on experience in the utilities or related industry (regulated and non-regulated)
  • 5+ years consulting experience with extensive client interface
  • Engineering degree preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, & PowerPoint are required
  • Knowledge of Visio and MindManager are a plus

Qualified candidates preferably possess an engineering degree, or business degree, and 7 – 10+ years proven experience. Travel is required up to 50%.
